When producing lead generation web sites, you actually need to make the lead capture form as visible as possible. Make it stand out and make sure your website visitors know to fill it out. Use call to actions to get them to submit the form.

Hi Andy,

Very informative post. I heard about the keywords meta tag not having much importance anymore but I didn't know that it had none whatsoever for Google.

I think that Yahoo and Bing may still consider them though. They can't hurt.

The description is all the more important then.

Thanks for coming up with valuable stuff.

Vance

I also heard about google just looking for things on it's own. It makes it harder for me to please google. I guess the best option is to do like Paul says and just make good content that is focused.

Hey Andy,

I've never worried about the keywords meta tag. I think it meant something many years ago but not any more. I certainly don't pretend that I'm any kind of SEO wiz but I've read so much about it that I've heard this many times over.

But even with all the reading from all the so called experts I still had a little doubt that this meta tag was completely useless.

No doubts anymore.

This is great info as it's coming from the best source possible, a Google employee.

Later,
Jeff Sargent
