It would have been great if you had been there as well.

Maybe one day we’ll both be at the same event! I definitely
intend to make more this year even just to catch up with some
of the folks I met.

And I learnt plenty. Just gotta put it into practice.

Biggest thing I learnt was not to overcomplicate things!

were talking they don’t know if it there will be one or not.

And there’s no need to be starstruck with them though as most of them
started in the same way and know how tough it is at the beginning.

Sound like Bristol was fun, not heard one bad comment about it yet, definitely going to put it in my diary for next year. Networking at the seminars is probably one of the most important aspects of attending them, might get a bit ‘starstruck’though as I am in total awe of some of these guys.

Depends on what radio station you listen to I suppose.

One of those “yoof” stations then probably but I listen to the grown up stations now. I remember listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Freebird a few times. That was almost the whole trip there! (Oldies joke)

Certainly not the cheapest place I’ve been. Think they should introduce price zones in the UK so like with time zones you know when you are going into the next one and can adapt accordingly!

Wow, an 8 hour drive. I bet you listened to every song on the radio over and over again during those 8 hours.

Anyway, it sounds you had a blast and made some great contacts.

I am a current student of Alex’s 3.0 class and I look forward to attending some of the live events and meet people face to face and develop new relationships.

You’re exactly right there mate, the fact that I had a migraine on the main networking night, and didn’t have that much to drink didn’t help things… I’m always more relaxed after a few beers, as most people are.

I did feel much more confident after a few beers, but my pounding head forced me to leave early.

I’m sure it would be a much better experience for me knowing that I’m going to be meeting you and some of the others there, who I speak with regularly.

I’m sure I’ll definitely be meeting you in person at some point anyway, its just a matter of time.
