The Bristol Experience Continued….
BySo after a great opening salvo of chatting and getting to know some major IM players on the Thursday night after a few hours sleep it was time to do a bit of learning at the opening of the LFMpire Seminar.
Robert Puddy and Donna Fox opened the proceedings. Donna is a very good speaker and focused on our reasons for wanting to succeed in Internet Marketing. I actually found this bit rather interesting as it reminds you that we all effectively have the same reasons and goals – Financial freedom, looking after family, more time with the kids etc.
To be honest, everything comes from having enough money to be comfortable. If you have money then you have time and then you can do with that time anything that makes you happy.
I’m not a money motivated guy but I am motivated by having the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I want and for my family to do the same!
The subject of Donna’s presentation is something I think I may go into deeper in another post or perhaps a report but she discussed the 4 P’s of marketing, the 6 C’s of traffic and the 7 requirements of a successful e-commerce business.
So what are they Andy I hear you cry…..Well, as I said. I think I’ll leave that for another post or even a quick course. We’ll see.
I’d rather tell you about the great folks I met.
At the end of that day we had the VIP Dinner. At this we had the opportunity to chat to each of the speakers in turn. Again I’ll come to them in turn.
Then once the dinner was over it was back to the bar and I got to have the craic with some great guys.
I got a chance to meet up with some more guys that I had only either read their stuff, bought their products or on the odd occasion spoke to on Skype.
I mentioned Tony Newton of Blogflipz notoriety. Tony’s a great bloke with a bright future:
Especially as he is now working with one of my favourite marketers, and someone whom I effectively travelled down to meet and that’s Tony Shepherd.
It was great to meet the two Tony’s and I ended up spending a fair amount of time with them both as they have the same principles and morals as I hope to run my business with, not to mention that Mr Shepherd is living the life that I hope to emulate.
And as the law of attraction states, if you associate with the successful then you have more chance of being successful yourself. And I have every intention of doing so.
And if I can, then believe me, anyone can so I hope you stick with me and we can grow together!

Hi Andy
I always look bored, so it’s nothing new!
Thanks for the mention and I’m sure we’ll be seeing lots more of each other at future events.
They become kind of addictive don’t they? And I’ve only ever been to one!
All the best
Tony
Andy:
I do not see how you guys make it on just afew hours sleep. I would be a zombie.
Being a MWA 3.0 student and being new to IM I would love to here what Donna said about the 4 P’s of marketing, the 6 C’s of traffic and the 7 requirements of a successful e-commerce business.
I know, I know you paid a lot of money to learn these things but come on and help a newbie out. Seriously though, I do look forward to learning from you.
Thanks,
Rick
